In conjunction, JHS has an exhibit at the Mill of railroad related images focusing on Underhill and Jericho. Jim Jones is a Burlington native and lifelong rail enthusiast with a legacy in the industry dating back to 1916. The son of renowned railroad author Robert C. Jones, Jim has spent nearly 60 years documenting Vermont’s "underdog" lines through his company, Tell-Tale Productions. An accomplished author and filmmaker, Jim specializes in "lost" routes, most recently chronicling the Burlington and Lamoille Railroad. His presentations are known for blending deep archival research with rare photography and a storyteller’s touch, keeping Central Vermont’s unique locomotive history alive.

The Old Red Mill, a national historic site, rises over a rushing gorge on the Browns River. It is one of the most photographed sites in the Northeast.

The Old Mill Craft Shop offers unique hand-made Vermont crafts and snowflake items. The shop has been operated by the Historical Society since 1971 and is staffed by volunteers.

The Snowflake Bentley Exhibit, comprising original snowflake photographs, camera and memorabilia of the "Snowflake man," Wilson Bentley, is open to the public free of charge.
